Mariia Melnyk works with the Energy and Extractives Global Practice at the World Bank. She oversees the Mission 300 connections and Compact monitoring and is responsible for the World Bank’s Electricity Access Scorecard reporting.
Mariia has held various positions at the World Bank, contributing to utility performance improvement initiatives and providing project support to energy operations in Ukraine. Prior to joining the Bank, she worked with the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
She holds a Master’s degree in International Energy from Sciences Po Paris, and a Master’s degree in International Economics from Kyiv National Economic University.
