Marilyne Youbi is an economist in the Macro Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice of the World Bank. Before joining MTI, Marilyne worked as an Analyst with the Doing Business team where she focused on trade facilitation as well as labor regulation and the business regulatory environment. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she worked as a research assistant for the Center for Urban Progress at Howard University. Marilyne holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park and a PhD in International and Development Economics from Howard University.
