Ms. Mariyam Raziyeva is a consultant with the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice of the World Bank Group. She has supported World Bank’s trade facilitation and gender studies in more than 10 countries as well as the implementation of the WBG’s flagship trade facilitation program (Trade Facilitation Support Program). She also provides technical support to UNCTAD’s work on enhancing and strengthening gender-in-trade statistics in the National Statistics Offices (NSOs) in Africa and Central Asia regions. Prior to this, Mariyam worked for the WBG’s Doing Business and Enabling the Business of Agriculture projects, measuring constraints faced by the private sector around the world.
