Mark is a Policy Specialist in UNDP’s HIV, Health and Development (HHD) Team, supporting the management and implementation of a portfolio of UNDP managed Global Fund HIV, tuberculosis and malaria grants. He provides substantive programme and policy advisory services to UNDP Country Offices, with a focus on capacity building for governments and NGOS, and on mainstreaming human rights interventions into Global Fund grants in coordination with other technical partners. He serves as the focal point for the UNDP HHD Team on anti-corruption.
Previously Mark worked at the Global Fund, managing HIV and TB grants to South Africa and Nigeria. Mark has a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University.
