Dr. Mark A. Jamison is Director and Gunter Professor of the Public Utility Research Center, Warrington College of Business, University of Florida. He provides international research and professional training relating to the regulation of public utilities, including directing the PURC/World Bank International Training Program on Utility Regulation and Strategy, which has trained over 3200 regulatory professionals from 153 countries since its inception in January 1997. Dr. Jamison has served as a utility regulator in the United States and previously worked for Sprint, a telecommunications company. He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Kansas State University and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Florida.
