Dr. Maros Ivanic is economist with the Agriculture and Rural Development team of the Development Economics Research Group at the World Bank where he analyzes issues related to international trade and poverty. Previously, he worked at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting in Qatar and the Center for Global Trade Analysis at Purdue University. Dr. Ivanic holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. He is author of several journal articles and book chapters on the topics of international trade liberalization and poverty assessment.
