Marta Khomyn, ICT Innovation Intern

Marta Khomyn is an ICT Innovation Intern at the World Bank focusing on the role of technology in labor market and trade policies, exploring the link between entrepreneurship and job creation, designing technology training programs in the developing countries, and evaluating the impact of technology enhancements on the economy.

Marta is currently an MSc student at Stockholm School of Economics majoring in Finance, and a Wallenberg Fellow at Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, with a focus on international development and foreign direct investments in emerging markets. Prior to the World Bank, Marta worked for hub:raum Berlin, a start-up accelerator of Deutsche Telekom, where she was an Investment Analyst. Marta is interested in technology and innovation, leading her to become a Google Student Ambassador, and a Digital Ambassador for the Swedish Institute.
 
At the World Bank, Marta works on Projects in MENA region, and the Balkans. She has prior experience in financial and macroeconomic analysis, telecommunications and start-up sector.
