Martijn Regelink is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank’s Malaysia hub. He works with policymakers across the East Asia and Pacific region to support resilient, efficient, and sustainable financial systems. His current work focuses on blended finance solutions to mobilize private capital, financial risk analysis and management, and financial sector reform and modernization. Previously, he led the World Bank’s global advisory work on climate- and nature-related financial risks in Washington, D.C., and served as a strategy advisor at the Dutch central bank (DNB). He holds master’s degrees in International Economics and International Relations from the University of Groningen.
