Martin Sterlicchi joined the World Bank Group in 2013 as a Junior Professional Associate and is currently working under the Operations Risk Management Unit. His main area of focus is on the World Bank’s Procurement Policy Review, concentrating on the development of new systems to capture relevant data from Bank and client activities.
Before joining the World Bank Group, Sterlicchi worked on the Leadership, Management & Governance Project (a USAID-financed project), working to strengthen the overall governance of public health systems in low-and middle-income countries. Previous to that, he served with the U.S. Peace Corps in Togo, working with the Togolese Ministry of Health and WHO Togo to professionalize local governmental entities and non-governmental organizations.
Sterlicchi holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and molecular biology from the University of Central Florida, and is a MBA candidate at HEC Paris.
