Mary-Ellen Foley has worked more than 15 years with World Bank project teams and countries on the implementation of multilateral environmental agreements. As a senior environmental specialist, she is responsible for coordination with external and internal clients, policy support and monitoring and reporting under the World Bank’s Montreal Protocol program on ozone protection. Her work ranges from promoting ozone, climate, and energy efficiency co-benefits in wider Bank programming to supporting the agricultural-linked issue of biosafety. She holds a graduate degree in international environmental policy and an undergraduate degree in microbiology.
