Mary Grace Mirandilla-Santos is an independent ICT policy researcher with a special focus internet connectivity, telecommunications, and information security of critical infrastructure. She has worked as a consultant for various government institutions and development organizations, including The Asia Foundation, Asian Development Bank, World Bank, Philippine Departments of Justice, Information and Communications Technology, and Science and Technology, as well as the Philippine Institute for Development Studies. Grace leads Better Internet PH and Secure Connections, non-profit advocacy groups pushing for an accessible, reliable, affordable, and secure internet and better cybersecurity in the Philippines. Recently, Grace began research work for the Global Index on Responsible Artificial Intelligence (GIRAI), which aims to equip governments civil society, and stakeholders with the evidence needed to advance rights-based principles for the responsible use of AI. She also started working with the Asian Open RAN Academy on policy regulation to promote Open RAN.
