Masood Ahmad joined the World Bank in 1983 and has worked as an Irrigation Engineer, an Environmental Specialist and a Water Resources Specialist. He has worked in operations in the Middle East and North Africa, Europe and Central Asia, Russia and Former Soviet Republics, East Asia Pacific and is currently based in South Asia. He leads projects in emergency preparedness, flood protection, water resources management, hydropower, etc. Prior to joining the Bank, Masood was a lecturer at the University of Faisalabad in Pakistan and an Assistant Professor at the Center of Excellence in Water Resources.
