Matěj Bajgar is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Economic Studies, Charles University, a researcher at CERGE-EI and a CERGE-EI Foundation Teaching Fellow. In his research, which covers innovation economics, industrial organization and international economics, he uses models, microdata and statistics to explore how public policies can foster a more innovative, dynamic and competitive economy. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Oxford and has worked for 5 years as an Economist at the OECD.
