Mathews Mullackal currently works as Water and Sanitation Specialist in India country office with the Water Global Practice of the World Bank Group. He joined as State Coordinator with the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) in April 2011, and has facilitated technical assistance to Government of Rajasthan in scaling up rural sanitation. Mathews has worked for around 15 years with various projects related water and sanitation with different organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calicut and a master’s degree in International Development from the University of Bristol, UK. He has been a recipient of the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship.
