Matthias Witt is consultant to the World Bank’s Identification for Development Initiative (ID4D). He focuses on social protection in fragile states and is passionate about identifying technology-driven solutions to protracted humanitarian problems.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Matthias worked in global health and emergency programming for an international NGO in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He holds a Master of Foreign Service from Georgetown University, concentrating in International Security with an Honors Certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies.
