Maurice Andres Rawlins is a Senior Environmental Specialist at the World Bank Group, working in Peru and throughout the Andean region. With over 15 years of experience in project management, policy, and strategy development, he specializes in natural resource management and climate change. Maurice began his career at the World Bank in 2013 as a Young Professional before becoming a natural resource management specialist. Before relocating to Peru, he worked in South Korea and Lao PDR, focusing on areas such as natural resources management, pollution and waste, blue economy, and carbon finance across South-East Asia. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Maurice holds a Ph.D. in environmental biology with an emphasis on watershed modeling and planning from the University of the West Indies, as well as an M.Sc. in environmental change and management from the University of Oxford.
