Maurice Andres Rawlins is Senior Environmental Specialist and Environment Coordinator for the World Bank in Lao PDR. He has over 10 years of experience in project management and policy and strategy development, with expertise in natural resources management and climate change. He joined the World Bank in 2013 as a Young Professional, and later became a natural resource management specialist. He moved to South Korea in 2018 and supported the World Bank’s environment natural resources and blue economy portfolio in Cambodia and the Philippines, as well as the innovation and technology agenda of the Korea office. Maurice is a national of Trinidad and Tobago and holds a Ph.D. in environmental biology with a focus on watershed modelling and planning from the University of the West Indies, and a M.Sc. degree in environmental change and management from the University of Oxford.
