Maximilian is a Consultant in the World Bank’s Climate Change Group working on decarbonizing maritime transport. He holds a bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor’s degrees in International Ship Management (nautical sciences) from the City University of Applied Sciences Bremen. Maximilian is passionate about international shipping and is excited to help shape the industry’s energy transition. Before joining the World Bank Group, he worked in several maritime finance internships and spent 12 months at sea as a cadet on ocean-going ships.
