May joined the Social Protection Unit in October 2010 after having worked for two years as a Research Analyst at the World Bank Lebanon Country Office. She works on operational and analytical projects in a variety of MENA countries (including Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and the GCC) and on regional work focused in the areas of Employment and Labor Markets. May holds a Masters degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelors degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
