Maya Gusarova is a Senior Public Sector Specialist at the World Bank. She joined the Bank’s Public Sector Institutional Reform unit within the Europe and Central Asia region in 2004. She worked with governments in Europe and Central Asia, South Asia and Africa on the design and implementation of reforms in the areas of public services modernization, domestic revenue mobilization, public financial management and public sector pay and employment. In 2011-2018 she led the Budget Community of Practice resource team under the Europe and Central Asia regional Public Expenditure Management Peer-Assisted Learning (PEMPAL) network. Gusarova holds a Master Degree in International Affairs, Economic and Political Development, from Columbia University (USA).
