Mayra Alfaro de Morán has over twenty years of expertise in designing and implementing projects focused on private sector development. She serves as a Senior Operations Officer in the Country Advisory and Economics unit of IFC. She is the team leader for the Caribbean Green Finance Framework project. This initiative has not only contributed to the development of the Dominican Republic Green Taxonomy but has also paved the way for sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in the private sector. Mayra holds an MBA from the University of Delaware in the United States. Additionally, she has pursued post-graduate studies at institutions such as Georgetown University and Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey.
