Md Rafi Hossain is currently working as an Operations Officer with the South Asia Health, Nutrition and Population (HNP) team. He is involved in the operations and fiduciary management of the World Bank’s HNP portfolio in Bangladesh. Rafi is working in various projects in Bangladesh and Pakistan and has a true passion for development.
Prior to joining the World Bank, he was working as an Economist at the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh (PRI). As part of the PRI technical team, he was highly instrumental in some of their flagship projects such as drafting the Sixth Five Year Plan and the National Social Security Strategy.
