Megan Rowling is a Barcelona-based correspondent with the Thomson Reuters Foundation and the editor for Zilient.org. She has more than 20 years' experience as a text, online and broadcast journalist. She has worked with the Thomson Reuters Foundation since 2005, specialising in humanitarian and development issues, including climate change and disaster risk reduction.
Megan initiated the foundation's climate change coverage, which has grown into an award-winning news service delivering content focused on the developing world to Reuters’ clients and beyond. She has an MSc in development management, and in 2016 won a U.N. Foundation award for coverage of the United Nations’ humanitarian work.
