Melani Cammett is Professor of Political Science and a faculty affiliate at the Watson Institute for International Studies and the Population Studies and Training Center at Brown University. Her research program is on the politics of welfare in developing countries, focusing on the Middle East and North Africa. During 2013-2014, she was based at the Harvard School of Public Health as a Takemi Fellow in International Health to work on this project with support from the Mellon Foundation.
