Mélio Tinga was born in Maputo, Mozambique. He is a writer and communication designer. Mélio published two fiction books: «O Voo dos Fantasmas» (2018) and «a engenharia da morte» - published in Mozambique (2020) and Brazil (2021). He was a finalist of 10 de Novembro Award in 2019 with the book of short stories «Outro Dia a Nuvem Evapora» and a winner of the Literary Prize INCM/ Eugénio Lisboa 2020 with the novel «Marizza». Mélio studied Visual Education at Universidade Pedagógica. He is a co-founder of DESIGN Talk, from DEZAINE Magazine. Mélio is also a creative director of BROKEN – Creative Agency and a co-founder of CATALOGUS.
