Melissa West is the Director of Advocacy and Communications at VillageReach, working to advance the organization’s mission of ensuring access to quality health care for underserved communities. Melissa and her team advocate for health policies and financing across sub-Saharan Africa and actively participate in initiatives including the Civil Society Coordinating Group (CSCG) for the Global Financing Facility, Civil Society Engagement Mechanism (CSEM) for UHC2030, Gavi CSO Steering Committee, and the Community Health Impact Coalition.
