Melvin John M. Tan is the General Manager and COO of Laguna Water – a Manila Water Philippine Ventures Company. He has over 12 years experience in the water and used water industry.
He joined Manila Water group in 2002 under the Company’s cadetship training program (management trainee). Prior to Laguna Water, he was General Manager and COO of Boracay Water – another subsidiary of Manila Water operating in the country’s most valued tourist destination, Boracay Island. Melvin has an undergraduate degree in Economics and post-graduate MBA from the University of the Philippines. He also has some juris doctor (law) units from Ateneo de Manila Law School.
