Mervy Ever Viboudoulou Vilpoux is an Economist in the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice. She has been working on issues pertaining to measurement of welfare, urban poverty, household survey design and statistical operations. Since joining the World Bank, she has worked in East and Central Africa, particularly in DRC, Republic of Congo and Gabon. She holds an MSc degree in Statistics and Economics from the Institut Sous-regional de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ISSEA, Yaoundé-Cameroon) and a BSc in Applied mathematics and Computer sciences from the Gaston Berger University (Saint Louis - Senegal).
