Meshael M. Abusalem is an Analyst in the People Regional Practice for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan (MENAAP) region at the World Bank. She supports Health, Nutrition, and Population; Education and Skills; and Social Protection and Jobs programs. Her work focuses on strengthening health systems, enhancing service delivery, and advancing equitable access to essential services, including in Fragile, Conflict, and Violence contexts and other settings. 

A Saudi national, Meshael brings expertise in global health, digital transformation, and policy implementation across multilateral and government institutions. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Maryland, School of Public Health. Her professional interests include streamlining operations, integrating technology in service delivery, and human capital development across the MENAAP region. Meshael is passionate about and dedicated to making an impact.
