Mexico Vergara is a Consultant in the Poverty Global Practice Group of the World Bank. He has been working on female labor participation and distributional effects of trade in the South Asia (SA) and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions. Previously, he worked as an Economist in the International Economy division of the Central Bank of Mexico. He holds a B.A. in Economics, a B.A. in Political Science and pursuing a M.A in Applied Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
