Mexico Vergara is a Consultant in the Poverty Global Practice at the World Bank. He has been working on female labor participation and distributional effects of trade in the South Asia and Middle East and North Africa regions. Previously, he worked as an Economist in the International Economy division of the Central Bank of Mexico. He holds a B.A. in Economics, a B.A. in Political Science and is pursuing a M.A in Applied Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
