Michael A. Grant is a Communications Specialist in the World Bank Group's Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice, focusing on infoDev’s Entrepreneurship Program in the Caribbean (EPIC). He has had more than 15 years of media and promotions experience as an advertising executive and SME business consultant both in Jamaica and the United States. He is responsible for entrepreneurship promotions and media liaison activities in CARICOM region.
As a writer and designer, Michael has consulted on health information campaigns for the Government of Jamaica and has worked at major daily newspapers in the United States and Jamaica. He has developed and taught graduate and undergraduate courses in communications at the University of the West Indies.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Yale University and an MA in Communications from the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania.
