Michael King is Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Trinity College Dublin. Michael’s research interests include the reach and impact of access to financial services, constraints to financial inclusion such as financial literacy and informality, and mobile banking. He has also published extensively on the topic of policy coherence for development, the process whereby OECD countries seek coherence between aid objectives and non-aid policies such as agriculture, trade, environment, migration and security. Michael holds a PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard University.
