Michael Walker is a Senior Consultant with Caledonian Economics, Scotland’s leading advisers to the public sector on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and social infrastructure projects. He has advised on over 30 PPPs and project finance projects in his career covering all stages of the project lifecycle from initial structuring and viability, through procurement, to financial close and operations. His experience covers social infrastructure (education, health, social care and housing) and economic infrastructure (transport, electricity transmission and waste). He has worked extensively in the UK, and has supported projects in Uruguay, Turkey and Latvia. Michael is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and a graduate of the University of Edinburgh.
