Michela Chiara Alderuccio is a Senior Education Consultant with the Education Global Practice at the World Bank and is based in Mozambique. Her areas of expertise encompass school management, teacher professional development, and foundational learning. Michela has a rich background in qualitative research and has collaborated with international organizations in Mozambique to implement and evaluate education interventions.
At the World Bank, Michela supported the adaptation of the Coach model to the Mozambican context. She currently provides technical and operational support to projects focused on enhancing foundational learning by improving the quality of teaching in the classroom.
Michela holds an MA in Education and Development (2007) and a Doctorate in Education from Sussex University (2017).
