Michelle has over 25 years of emerging market experience in corporate and investment banking and advisory services. In 2009, she joined IFC to lead IFC Transaction Advisory Services in Public-Private Partnerships for the Caribbean, which acts as advisors to governments in structuring and executing PPPs and privatizations. She acted as advisor to both public and private sector clients in a wide range of transactions, including PPPs, privatizations, debt, equity and M&A leading highly visible and impactful transactions. Michelle has structured PPPs in numerous sectors including transport, telecommunications, renewable energy, water and sanitation, and health and education. Prior to joining IFC, she was Vice President, Global Corporate Bank at Citigroup, Jamaica, where she originated and executed corporate finance, project finance and capital markets transactions.
Michelle holds a BSc from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from the Universities of Manchester and Wales, UK, with a specialization in Finance.
