Migle Petrauskaite is a consultant in the World Bank’s Macroeconomics, Trade & Investment Global Practice, where she supports analytical work on fiscal policy, climate risk, and economic development across East Asia Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa. She has contributed to flagship reports—including Country Climate and Development Reports, Country Economic Memoranda, Systematic Country Diagnostics, and Economic Monitors—for countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Rwanda, and Mongolia.

She is based in Uganda, where she serves as an ODI Fellow and Senior Economist at the Ministry of Finance. Her work supports the national team on domestic debt, contingent liabilities, and fiscal risk management. She holds an M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an MA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh.
