Mio Takada is Senior Agriculture Economist, Agriculture Global Practice, South Asia, the World Bank. She has been working on the rural livelihoods and local economic development programs in Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Prior to the Bank, she worked for the World Food Programme of the United Nations in Tanzania, Iraq and Timor-Leste.
