Miyoko Asai is a Data Analyst consultant in the Poverty and Equity GP’s global team. She supports global reporting on poverty and shared prosperity through the design and implementation of data management systems, and contributes to the organization of the Data for Goals program. Prior to joining the World Bank, Miyoko worked for several years with different branches of the Australian Government, including the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and was a research assistant with the Australian National University. Miyoko holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Hitotsubashi University and a Graduate Diploma in Economics from the Australian National University.
