Moad Alrubaidi, Sr. is a Financial Management Specialist in the Governance Latin America & Caribbean FM Team in Washington DC. He holds a BA and MS in Accounting from Michigan State University and a US CPA.
Moad began his career with the Bank as a Financial Management Specialist in the MENA region, based in Yemen. Since 2015, Moad has been in Washington DC where he worked on a diverse program ranging from: (i) leading the complex fiduciary work for Yemen including orderly closure of Yemen lapsed portfolio, supporting IDA’s re-engagement in Yemen, and contributing to the GGP’s innovative efforts leveraging technology to enhance fiduciary oversight of high-risk emergency operations; (ii) contributing to the decentralization agenda and leading subnational PFM work in Iraq and various countries in the region; and (iii) providing regional fiduciary quality assurance arrangements.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2008, Moad worked in the Audit and Assurance Services in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the US based in Michigan.
