Mohamad Hussein Mansour is an economist working as a consultant with the World Bank since 2018. He received his PhD from Bocconi University in 2019. In addition to working for the World Bank, Mohamad is a lecturer at the American University of Beirut and the Lebanese American University. He is also the founder and president of AID Lebanon, a humanitarian NGO that he founded in Lebanon in 2020, and the founder and director of the European Middle East Institute for Research (EMEIR), which he founded in Milan, Italy in 2021. Mohamad was also a Senior Researcher at the Lebanese Centre for Policy Studies in 2019. Prior to returning in Lebanon, Mohamad was a visiting scholar at Columbia University in New York City. Mohamad holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy and Development from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
