Mohamed-Amin Mahdi is a Private Sector Specialist in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice of the World Bank. He coordinates several operational engagements on business climate reforms, entrepreneurship, SME development and financing mechanisms, competitive value chains promotion, and financial sector reforms.
Prior to the Bank, Mohamed-Amin worked as the coordinator of the technical preparation and compliance of financial institutions during the implementation of the world’s first transnational Private Credit Bureau, licensed by the Central Bank of the Western African Monetary Union (WAMU) zone, covering 8 countries and more than 200 financial institutions.
Mohamed-Amin holds degrees from ICN Business School and University of Birmingham.
