Mohammed Alluhidan is the Head of the Health Economics Unit (HEU) of the Saudi Health Council. He oversees the work program of the HEU, including capacity building in health economics and the generation and dissemination of evidence to help inform policy in the health sector. His research interests include economic evaluation in health care, health policy research and analytics, and health system efficiency. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health science from Simon Fraser University (Canada) and a master’s degree in medicine from the University of Sydney (Australia), and he is pursing further education in health economics and policy at Lancaster University (United Kingdom).
