Mombert Hoppe is an Economist in the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management Department of the World Bank, focusing on collaborative projects with other Geneva-based organizations in the area of trade. In addition, he focuses on policy dialogue and economic analysis on international trade, particularly in West and Central Africa. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked as Economist and advisor at the Ghanaian Ministry of Trade and Industry in Accra. He holds an advanced degree in European Economics from the Institute of European Studies in Brussels, and master’s degrees in International Economics from Maastricht University.
