Momo Bertrand is an Education Specialist with the World Bank. He leads the Bank’s education portfolio in Guinea‑Bissau, where he oversees the design and implementation of programs spanning education technology, K‑12 education, and TVET in a fragile context. Previously, he led multi‑country programs and research on inclusive education, skills, employability, higher education, and behavior change at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). Before entering international development, he founded and led a consulting firm offering training, digital transformation, and online communication services in Cameroon. Momo holds a Master’s degree in Social Innovation from the University of San Diego and an MBA from Quantic. He has lectured at the Turin School of Development, and his work has been featured in Al Jazeera, The Times of San Diego, and la Repubblica.
