Monica is an Infrastructure Specialist at the World Bank’s Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF). She works with the team to develop global knowledge products on a wide range of topics aimed at advancing private sector participation in infrastructure, including policy, finance, climate, and data. Monica also supports the development and implementation of PPIAF’s technical assistance portfolio in the water sector across East and South Asia and the Pacific.
With over 20 years of diverse experience in the infrastructure sector, Monica’s background spans engineering, management consulting, and policy advisory. Prior to joining PPIAF, she was Director of Thought Leadership at the G20’s Global Infrastructure Hub (GI Hub), where she worked closely with the G20 Infrastructure Working Group on multilateral infrastructure policy and the development of global initiatives such as the InfraTech Agenda, the Sustainable Infrastructure Framework, and programs on resilience and the circular economy.
