Monica Jain is an ET Consultant with the South Asia Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management Practice with the World Bank, based in New Delhi, India. She works on building state partnerships focused on low-carbon and resilient development, provision of technical assistance, and other innovative analytical programs.
Previously, she was working with the World Resources Institute India where she focused on interdisciplinary research examining the interplay between climate change, energy, water, waste and other urban issues, analyses of regional and local sustainability, mitigation, and risk reduction strategies, enabling markets and innovation; and supported the execution of multiple climate innovation accelerators. She holds a master’s degree from University College London (UCL) in Economics and the Policy of Energy and the Environment.
