Monyl Toga is a Senior Energy Specialist at the World Bank. As such, she supports the elaboration of country-led renewable energy strategic plans and coordinates the mobilization of concessional donor funding for projects that aim to mitigate the impact of climate change. Prior to joining the World Bank, Monyl advised governments on infrastructure public-private partnerships at the International Finance Corporation. She also held various positions in the private sector in South Africa and in Cameroon, where she focused on energy project finance transactions and the distribution of oil and gas products, respectively. Monyl is a CFA charterholder, with an MBA from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaounde (Cameroon).
