Morten Lykke Lauridsen is a Principal Economist with IFC’s Thought Leadership Unit. The Thought Leadership Unit focuses on the role of IFC and the private sector in development in order to facilitate the understanding of those roles to external audiences and to help formulate IFC strategies. Morten has a diversified professional experience with 20 years of experience within international economics, global analytics and development issues. He has held positions in the Danish Foreign Service as Head of Analytics for International Economics, Special Representative for fragile and conflict-affected states and Director of Americas.
