ANM Mustafizur Rahman, a Senior Procurement Specialist of the World Bank, has wide experience of about 20 years, largely focusing on procurement. He has been deeply involved in the consecutive public procurement reform projects in Bangladesh, with pioneering role in designing the procurement capacity development model for the country comprising training materials of long and short courses for procurement of goods, works, and services. He provided extensive support in preparing the procurement law, regulation, standard bidding documents, e-GP (e-Government Procurement) guidelines and in advancing e-GP in Bangladesh, including indicator-based on-line procurement performance measurement. He possesses over 15 years of experience in handling and managing large/complex procurement cases including innovative contracting strategy. He is a graduate in Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration and Supply Chain and certified Master Trainer on Public Procurement.
