Mutriba Latypova is a Tajik national based in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. She is a health and nutrition specialist with over 20 years of experience in development. Prior to joining the World Bank, she spent 4 years as the Tajikistan Country Coordinator for GAIN (Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition), 1.5 years as the Director of Operations for the USAID-funded Family Farming Program, 3 years as the Deputy Chief of Party/Performance Manager for the USAID-funded Tajikistan Safe Drinking Project and 3 years as Executive Director of the NGO Youth Life. She has a BA in English from Khujand State University, Tajikistan, and a Master’s degree in Globalization and International Policy Analysis from Bath University, UK.
